Ideal for manned and unmanned, fixed and rotor-wing aircraft, land and sea vehicles, Troll’s azimuth (AZ) and elevation (EL) steered airborne and ground antennas support long-range wireless communications in frequencies ranging from 1.5 GHz to 38 GHz.

Troll’s airborne systems are certified: DO-160, FAA or have accumulated aircraft STCs both here and abroad.  The SkyLink Mini for example, has been tested to 300 knots, has DO-160 certifications, and when matched with Troll’s ground tracking antennas becomes the ideal solution for all rotor-craft, high-speed turboprop or very light jets used for airborne ISR.  

Ground-to-Air
Troll’s portfolio of ground stations feature high-gain, spatial diversity, telemetry and spectrum tracking antennas with easy to operate controllers.  Video and surveillance specialists, our systems are designed to support bidirectional communication command centers from permanent or mobile platforms. 

Troll’s airborne and ground stations can utilize available GPS telemetry data or we can provide patented RF tracking as well as spectrum-tracking technologies to simplify signal locating and acquisition of RF links on fast moving airborne and ground assets.  Troll’s spectrum tracking, for example, is particularly well suited to provide interoperable air-to-ground IP voice, video and data in congested radio frequency environments.
