HD video Downlink

Troll’s recent introduction of directional diversity antennas set new price, performance and reliability standards for ground receive systems. The combination of high-gain directional antennas provide long range, high bandwidth communication (up to 180km). Its 360° plus overlapping diversity coverage is primarily used for close-in communications to around 50km where reflected microwave and obstructed line of sight inter fear with traditional microwave reception. Here the systems RF combining technology makes receiving and reconfiguring video signals possible. the A600 an ideal choice for military, public safety and broadcast infrastructure.

The High-Definition Video Communications Infrastructure Systems and the Product’s New Directional Diversity Receiver Systems are fully self-contained receive sites.

The ground system includes:

    • Six channel DVB-T diversity receiver.
    • Unique steerable high-gain directional antenna.
    • Five re configurable diversity panel antennas.
    • Fully automated SIT “Signal Integrity Tracking” – automatic tracking software
    • Self-contained system can be controlled from any remote location

The airborne system includes:

  • 10w high definition DVB-T transmitter
  • Unique steerable high-gain directional antenna.
  • Selectable OMNI antenna
  • Fully automated NavTrack telemetry based tracking software
  • Self-contained panel-mount controller with moving map display
