Wireless Signal Filtering Equipment and Management Software – Telecom Automated cross-channel and co-channel frequency interference filters
The TMF-350 is an automatic RF switch box that contains an RF transfer relay which can put an external filter in or out of the RF path. This RF filtering unit utilizes a sophisticated control system that passively monitors a radio frequency receiver. It reads the channel / band conditions and determines whether the filter should be in or out of the path. This filter sharply notches out signals above BAS Channel 7 while minimizing insertion loss for all BAS channels.
The switch assembly works in conjunction with the T-Mobile 2.1 GHz notch filter unit (CMT Filters CMN719). There are also instances ENG channels 8 through 10 (2450 MHz to 2500MHz), or receiving the down-converted signals in the 7 GHz (2006 MHz to 2244 MHz) and 12/13 GHz (2028 MHz to 2572 MHz) bands. When this occurs, the filter will impair the performance of the receive site system. In these cases the TMF 350 automatically sniffs the status of the receiver for channel and band and determines whether the filter should be in-circuit or bypassed. Receivers from several different manufacturers are supported.
