The X750 is an expansion unit designed to allow for more equipment control at remote sites. It can control a single antenna or camera system as well as provide additional I/O. The X750 does not have a microprocessor board but receives its instructions from a S750 Remote Site Controller via a USB cable. Like the S750, this unit provides full control of antenna and receiver functions such as pan, tilt, polarization, channel, offset and band, various site management functions can be controlled and monitored by the system. These are often used for video, audio and RF routing or switching, or user-defined alarms.
Up to four X750 expansion units can be connected to a single S750 Remote Site Controller, and since the X750 is an extension of the S750, it does not require an additional communications path.
Like the S750, the X750 is capable of controlling a single antenna or camera system. Therefore, the X750 is typically found at receive sites with two antennas or an antenna and a camera system.
