The TrollCam HD employs an NEMA-4 rated environmentally shielded
camera enclosure, which protects the camera, lens and electronics.
The enclosure has a built-in heater, heat exchanger, fan and circulating air to eliminate obstructions and mitigate the effects of extreme
weather conditions. An optional arctic kit is available when
further protection is desired. The design of the TrollCam™
HD allows for installation on an industry standard pipe
mount. 
The TrollCam™ HD brings all camera and lens
functions,
environmental controls and 16 user-defined presets together
on an easy to use mastercontrol screen. Operating within
the TouchStar™ Master Control System, the TrollCam™
HD operator has access to real-time video and control
windows.
The system is extremely intuitive and reduces training costs significantly. With the real-time video option comes
the TIP function (Touch-In-Picture). All TouchStar™ communication
components are available for the TrollCam™ Classic, so
a variety of local, dedicated or dial-up telco, RF, microwave,
TCP/IP, multiplexed or fiber-optic communications options
can be implemented.
