Outdoor Camera System
The TrollCam HD PRO200 is a complete HD POV (point-of-view) camera system. It integrates Troll’s award winning HD camera enclosure with JVC’s ProHD Model GY-HD200 Camcorder to bring you True HD Quality at an SD Price.
The system is comprised of Troll’s HD camera enclosure, control electronics, interface box, the JVC ProHD Camcorder, and QuickSet’s heavy-duty precision pan and tilt positioner. The JVC ProHD Camera features a built-in MPEG-2 encoder and provides IEEE 1394 (firewire) output to either ASI or IP. A Fujinon 1/3-inch bayonet (17x) lens completes this HD POV camera system.
The TrollCam HD PRO200 is manufactured with high-quality components. Its state-of-the-art enclosure is NEMA 4 rated, providing protection and reliability for your HD camera in rigorous environments. The enclosure is virtually maintenance-free — employing Troll’s AIRJET technology (patent pending) to keep the 16:9 viewing window clean and clear without the need for a mechanical wiper! Troll has also enhanced the pan and tilt positioner, making it a serially-controlled device with better than 0.2 degrees of accuracy.
Connection from the enclosure to the interface box is accomplished with a single cable that carries all the necessary power, control, and data signals (including an NTSC output from the camera). The interface box provides access to all signals as well as housing the AIRJET compressor.
The system can be controlled using either our intuitive TouchStar software or the new TCC500 Camera Controller—the camTROLL. Remote operation of the TrollCam HD200 can be achieved via Dial-up, Ethernet, RS-232, or RS-422.
